About Us


Strata Care Solutions Pty Ltd began life as Dorill Pty Ltd over 33 years ago. Dorill was created by Alan Woolf and successfully operated for 18 years before Greg Walker joined him and they adopted the trading name Strata Care Solutions.

With Alan’s well-earned retirement at the end of 2018, Greg took over the majority of the business and changed the company name to Strata Care Solutions Pty Ltd. The primary aim of the business is to provide exemplary strata care services and solutions to owners and managers of both strata units and commercial premises.

We have achieved consistent growth over the years - predominantly as a result of referrals from Strata and Building Managers in recognition of the excellent service we provide to our clients, and the pro-active assistance we provide to managers with their property management responsibilities.

Strata Care Solutions’ owners and senior management team share backgrounds in service industries and actively work in the business, providing leadership and direction to staff and ensuring our high-quality standards are consistently met.

Our clients depend on us to:

Services

Cleaning

Cleaning includes the following:

  • Clean windows and glass doors, inside and out, of entrance foyers.
  • Wipe all flat surfaces including window ledges, hand rails (upper, lower, and vertical components), skirting boards, etc.
  • Clean internal glass of windows in stairwells
  • Vacuum foyer and stairs
  • Mop tiled areas – foyer and stairs
  • Scrub tiled areas by machine if required for heavy duty cleaning
  • Check walls for marks and spot clean as required
  • Check for cobwebs and remove as required
  • Blow external concrete drives, parking areas, pathways and bin areas
  • Clean and deodorise rubbish bins
  • Remove insects from light diffuser
  • Check and replace faulty light globes
  • Pick up all litter

Mowing

We generally mow lawns fortnightly during Spring and Summer and four-weekly during Autumn and Winter. Of course, subject to weather conditions and the type of grass you have, the frequency may vary. The guidelines we follow for mowing different types of grass are:

  • Buffalo grass: cut at 40–50mm
  • Kikuyu: cut at 40–45mm
  • Couch: cut to 25–30mm

In shaded areas or the cooler months, we prefer to keep your grass a little longer so there is no unnecessary stress put on the grass.

We also recommend fertiliser be applied three times a year; in Spring, Summer and Autumn.

And we poison weeds (bindii & broadleaf weeds) during late Winter or early Spring.

Gardening

Our gardening service includes:

  • Creation and planting of garden beds
  • Hand weeding
  • Mulching
  • Fertilising
  • Removal of dead or diseased trees and plants
  • Hedge trimming
  • Poisoning of weeds as required
  • Pesticide application to treat infected plants
  • Replanting; seasonal or replacement
  • Watering systems (install & maintain)
  • Turf laying

Pressure Cleaning

Our pressure cleaning service includes:

  • Walkways, concrete, tiled and paved
  • Steps, garden edges, fences (including sandstone), driveways
  • Treat and remove stubborn oil stains in garages and parking areas
  • Treat and remove mould on exterior walls

Tree Pruning

Our tree pruning service includes:

  • Removal of dead branches from trees and shrubs (up to 4m in height)
  • Trimming of branches encroaching on pathways, etc.
  • Annual pruning of shrubs and hedges

Rubbish Removal

Our rubbish removal service includes:

  • Excess rubbish from bin area and other common areas
  • Dumped household rubbish such as furniture, white goods, etc.
  • Garden waste including lawn clippings, branches, leaf matter

Bin Handling

Our bin handling service includes:

  • Weekly service to put rubbish bins out and to return
  • Wash and deodorise bins as required
  • Supply rubbish bin liners if required
  • Flatten and empty boxes ready for collection if required
  • Advise strata managers promptly of any problems with the disposal of rubbish in bin areas

Hedging

Our hedging service includes:

  • Hedging of plants and shrubs, and removal of green waste as required
  • The hedging service can be regularly scheduled or provided on request
